PotestaMichele was born in Milan, Italy, and has carried out there most of his studies. He holds a B.A. and an M.A. in Law from the University of Milan, and is currently completing his PhD in International Law at the same University. He has also studied in Frankfurt and at UC Berkeley.

Michele has been a classical music lover since his early age. He has studied piano at the G. Verdi Conservatory of Music in Milan, from which he holds an intermediate diploma. He also wrote a High School thesis on the myth of Don Giovanni, which he studied in an interdisciplinary perspective including literature, philosophy and music. In his free time, besides attending operas and concerts performed at several Milanese theatres and concert halls, he enjoys playing chamber music with friends, as well as accompanying solo voices.
